"And a good time was had by all.." would have been a good theme for the 2009 Fun Festival/Hot Dog Festival.  Arrington Enterprises Incorporated and Flowers Bakery help sponsor free hot dogs to the first 150 people to buy a drink.  Other sponsors of the night's events were: Franklin News Post, Professional Therapies, Franklin Finance, J & J Fashions, Flowers by Jones, Central Oil Company, Jamison Electric, Cox's Fashions, Dale Angle, Barney Bay Dairy, J & R Garage, McCall Insurance, Sleep Safe Beds, Rocky Mount Supply, Layman's Contracting, Main Street Tax and Mortgage Service, Attorney Tonya Janney, Hometown Ice, and 619 Minute Market.  Woodmen of the World, agent Steve Bishop, provided a blow up slide for an additional children's activity.
